anyone know if they have a double din dash kit for a mustang 01 and up??  i want to put a double din unit in my car and dont want to ghetto rig the unit in there...

btw the unit i wanna get is the kenwood ddx7015.  any opinions on the unit? ive never wanted a kenwood headunit but this thing has a serious pull on me making me want to ditch my alpine cda-7894...

I wouldn't get rid of the 7894 unless its giving you problems... But on your dashkit problem, I just got finished working on a mustang, that before I worked on it they had a pen for its dash kit to hold in the HU, ha that was funny.... Anyway, if you go to any Circuit City and ask if they could special order you a double din from Metra or American International, they'll just have you pay up front for it... but they should easily be able to get you a dash kit... Hope that helps.

a while back I did some research on the crutchfield din kits.  Because they have the pocket on top of the reciever.  I bought mine for $6.95 plus a couple dollars shipping.  If I find the reciept I will post up the part number and where I got it.  If I remember right, I just took a part of the crutchfield number and put it in google.

I wanted the pocket on top so that my LCD screen didn't block the heat vents.
