00 Passat w/monsoon system CD changer?

Hi!

I have a question, on a 2000 Passat with a monsoon system... mine didnt came with the cd changer and was wondering if theres an aftermarket plug that I can use to connect an aftermarket changer to the factory stereo? if there is could you please point me in the right direction,,, Thanks for the help in advance!

There is an aftermarket changer called the "Neo Changer" that has the factory connections for many different car makers including VW, thats the only thing i know that will work. I've done a few installations on them and its pretty easy.

so it would just plug in to the factory stereo and work fine? how hard is it to install... thanks for the info!

Yeah, there should be a plug in the trunk of your passat that it hooks to, and once you get it set up and mounted your ready to go through the factory radio. The neo changers run about $250

Thats a lot of money,,, where can I found this Neo CD Changers? i did a search with no luck,,,, so thisis the only option other that factory... hmmm.... running out of ideas, but Thanks!

I do car installs for best buy and we sell it, as far as i know its the only alternative to go through the factory radio.
