cornering lamps

hello 12 volt gurus: i am trying to install cornering lamps on my 2000 camry.the camry does not come with cornering lamps from factory. how would i go about wiring the lamps. should i tap from the signal light wiring or should i use a seperate wiring with relays for both sides.

Tap off the power wires from the parking light circuit from inside the car ( this is the same wire that the dash lights run off of. GREEN wire at the bottom of fusebox in a white connector just below the fuses with the wires exiting out toward you.

hello velocity motors: i think i made a mistake with my question. what i am trying to do is have cornering lights like the cadillacs have, when you put your turn signal on the cornering light turns on and lights the right or left path that your taking. you know what i mean now. thanks...

You will need to build an off-delay relay that is powered by the +12 parking lamps circuit and the off-delay relay is triggered by the turn signal +12 feed.  The relay mus be able to sustain the energized state through the "off" period of the turn signal flasher routine.

backinblack_gp: hello, sorry i took so long to reply to the question at hand. can you please draw me up a road map to build the off delay relay. i would appreciate it a lot. i live in a remote part of ft lauderdale and the street lighting really sucks,you can`t see sh_t at night. thats why i am looking to install cornering lights on my car.
