I am looking for opinions. I have been in this business for a while now, and i have always wondered what type of enclosure would best suit a vehicle with a trunk. I have tried many different styles and variations, but i can't decide what i would like to use. Any ideas?

You have to tell us more info, Your setup. amp , subs, what kind of music do you hear, If you like SQ or SPL.

I am going for sound quality. I will be using 2 12" svc 4 ohm lightning audio strike woofers (model # s3.12.4), with a lightning audio strike amp. (model #s2.300.2)

My generic answer to your first question is it is always best to build the type of enclosure the woofer you want to use requires where it works best. Not all speakers work well in all types of enclosures. Some woofers work best in acoustic suspension (sealed) and others in bass reflex (ported) enclosures. There are even some optimized for bandpass and isobaric configurations.

Your Strike woofers are designed for acoustic suspension mounting and require 1 cuft sealed for each driver. I'd build a dual chamber enclosure for them. Your woofers are SVC 4-ohms. Your amplifier is a stereo amp and requires at least 4 ohms when bridged. Your only choice is to wire the subs in series for a total 8-ohm load and connect it to the amp in bridged configuration, or to wire each 4-ohm sub to its own channel. It will deliver approximately 75 watts RMS to each woofer in either case.
