Hello. I just got an 89   Mercedes 560 SEL.  The car kicks ass but the stereo stinks. Does anyone else have this car? or any late 80s early 90s Mercedes that they have put a new system in?  I am pretty hung up on keeping it looking stock. I think it is going to need all new wiring, becuase the car has got 6 or 8 speakers, but there are hardly any wires going to the deck. The fader control is on the console. Anyone who owns one of these cars and knows anything about it please send a private message. I would like to do something about it soon.  It currently has the becker grand prix cassette stereo.

Thanks

Aaron

shouldn't  be a problem swapping it out....you use one stereo pair from whatever deck you are putting in at the OEM HU wiring and incorporate the factory fader.... no reason to replace all the wiring...unless you want to....
