if you learn to do it yourself it's even cheaper. and you don't have to worry about some idiot screwing things up.

True...I tried doing it myself with a friend but we couldn't find everything. Our first problem was that we couldn't find all the screws to take out the underdash. After that, the wiring diagrams for my car weren't always right. I got the diagrams from this site and some bull dog security site and both were wrong at certain places which messed us up. So yeah, eventually I just ended up taking it to the "professional".... :o/ But yeah, I'm gonna try and get him to finish it up....
