Hi, everyone

I am wondering if anybody can help me with the door locks, the light flash and the hood sensor with an alpine 150-r alarm.

This is the third alarm I have installed, the first two were in Hondas, they were a breeze, but this Yukon is giving me some trouble.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

diabloed

Beware Bro.. becareful when messing with the Door and Rear Door trigger Wires. If your not careful, you can smoke the BCM. 1998 4-door yukon -- posted image. I installed an alrarm on remote start on a 97. Velocity might be able to confirm this so hopefully he'll see this post again. You will have to diode isolate the trigger wires that are from the Driver door and the rest of the doors (rear hatch  is part of the trigger wire for the pass and rear doors). Theres a diagram somewhere. Ill try and find it. I also found that for whatever reason, after the doors and trunk are shut, the BCM sends pulsed signals back through the trigger wires. What i had to do on my grand prix is.. cut the trigger wires and diode isolate them as well to stop the BCM from sending that signal then tie the alarm trigger wire on the opposite side of the BCM. If it confuses you, let me know and ill explain better on the phone or something. Hey Velocity, can you confirm this? I found that with my 00 Grand Prix that after i armed the alarm, with a minute or two, the alarm would go off bc the BCM was sending those signals. I finally realized it when i loaded Cliffnet Wizzard and it was showing the door and trunk open with a minute of closing them. ??
