What kicker amp would be the best to get for 2 15" Kicker compVR's?  It would probably be cheaper to get a kx1200.1 rather than 2 kx400.1's  But I want to see what anyone thinks about which one would be the best to run them with..

See, If I just get the kx1200.1 then I can run both of the subs fine.. Just more RMS power than I need, but then I only need to run 1 Power wire and such.  So that makes it cheaper than 2 kx400.1's because then I have to run 2 Power wires, But if I get 2 of them then I can strap them together for 800Watts RMS, Instead of 1200RMS off the 1200.1 which is 200watts RMS to much..

There is nothing wrong with having too much power, buy the one amp and call it a day.

Ok, well what if I only have 1 Kicker comp and 1 kicker compVR at 4 ohms for each coil, how do I run them so they go down to 1ohm?

if they both are 4 ohm dvc you can wire each sub in parallel (+w/+ and -w/-) on the speaker itself to the terminal and get 2 ohms than wire the two subs in parrallel to get (+w/+ and -w/-) from the terminals in to the amp and you will be at 1 ohm.
