Hi All.

I have a 2000 Focus, Diesel. Can anyone please tell me where to find the tachometer output.

I'm installing a Clifford intellistart & with no coil I'm a bit stuck where to find an output.

If I test it with a meter what sort of output should I get (AC 1-6 Volts it says in the book, is this right)

Does anyone also know if the interior light is +ive or -ive trigger.

Cheers

it is correct that,  i would check behind the cluster probally looking for the GREEN/ black wire that would be at the coil, you also want to make sure that you connect your wait to start wire. as far as the door trigger most are negative trigger and are a black with blue on some of the focus its black yellow in the kick panel low,

Best I could find is a 99 ford focus UK. It should be close to the same. Good luck.

Thanks Guys for the quick reply.

With my Focus being a Diesel there is no coil.

Would the GREEN/ black wire at the back of cluster still be there??

What sort of output should I test for ?? Just to check.

Do you know the color of the wait to start wire at the back of the cluster??

Thanks again
