2004 Corolla S - Factory Disarm

I have hooked up a Viper 160XV to a 2004 Corolla S. Everything went smooth with the install. Remote Start works and the doors lock/unlock with the Viper remote. The 160XV is only a remote start unit. My problem is the factory alarm. According to everything that I have read in the wiring diagram and on the forum, the factory alarm disarms with the unlocking of the doors, and arms with the locking of the doors. According to the customer, sometimes the factory alarm will sound when she opens her door. The remote start module is unaffected (car can still remote start) and the alarm is disarmed by pressing the unlock button on the Viper remote. I have the keysense wire hooked up as described in the wiring diagram along with every other connection to make the Viper remote start function. Any ideas on what could be making the alarm sound with opening the door? It seems as if the factory alarm is killed by using the Viper remote's unlock button, but how do I get around to disarming the alarm so it doesn't go off?

Yeah, the factory alarm seems to go off at random times according to the customer. Even when it has been locked and unlocked via the Viper remote.

How long between the time she unlocks the door till the time she opens the door? If it is more then thirty seconds the factory alarm may arm itself. You have the unlock wire set to double pulse as well correct? Certified Security Specialist

Make sure you have it set for double pulse unlock if you don't already. Mike

There's supposed to be a wire with the lock/unlock if I remember correctly. It should be the factory disarm wire. I believe you would use that on the blue status wire.
