I put in a alarm with remote start but the only problem I have is when the car starts with the remote the interior light flash on for a brief second setting off the alarm. The car has a factory alarm which is being bypassed. Any clues to stop the lights from comming on?

Are you sure you have the right Dis-arm?

L GREEN/ ORANGE Single Wire Will Arm & Disarm. Must See 12 VDC (+) Thru A 873 Ohm Resistor To Arm And 12 VDC (+) Thru A 270 Ohm Resistor For Disarm.

I didn't use the resistor since the tech guide I used didn't say anything about it. If the resistor is not used would that cause the interior light to come on for a brief second when it remote starts?
