i have one 530T controlling my two front windows and one controlling the rear window and the sunroof.  the one controlling the sunroof and the rear window is on a "type b" system and the one for the front windows is a "type a" system. i have them diode isolated on the GWA wire. now when i arm the alarm (791xv) the front windows roll up fine, the rear window rolls up fine but the sunroof will not close when open, or it will open if closed (when i arm the alarm). The switches for the rear window and the sunroof both operate correctly (open= rolls open, close= rolls closed). Why would this unit be doing this? Is it a bad unit? Wiring? Any help is appreciated. oh, if i switch the gwa wire and the RED / white wire one the unit, the rear window and the sunroof will work opposite. What is that all about?

Why oh why do people insist on doing sunroofs? It is more then likely a wiring issue. It could be issues where you tagged the wires at, it could be issues with the module, or it could be issues with the sunroof itself. Even in the 530T install manual it recommends using the 529T.
Also explain in more detail the switching of ground when armed and second channel output.

my sunroof doesnt have a vent feature, so basically it acts as another window. as for switching the wires, i connected the gwa wire from the 530 to the gwa of the alarm, and the rear window will roll up(if down), but the sunroof will stay open(if its closed, it will open). When i connect the RED / white wire from the unit to the gwa of the alarm, the opposite happens with the sunroof and the rear window.

OK, so if the module is wired correct, gwa and RED / white, the back window will roll up and the sunroof will open when armed? And if you activate the RED / white, the back window will roll down and the sunroof will close?

Then you need to reverse the up and down wires at the sunroof. You just have them backwards. Basicly switch the blue and the green around and switch the white and brown.
