I have a 2004 Denali with factory Navigation system and XM installed. I want to put in aftermarket DVD player with either headrest or drop down screen in headliner. My question is this, is it possible to have the DVD player as a selectable source from the stock NAV/headunit. I really do not want to use an FM modulator if at all possible. Thanks for your assistance ahead of time.

Peripheral Electronics..3 source selector, you have to have the xm 'playing',this allows you to 'port in' your audio,i just use a couple relays,I can't remember the exact wires, just find the audio(Snap on vantage,or for a less technical way,a set of headphones with a connector with wires, shield on ground,a little experimentation, and just hook up a couple relays,a simple stereo level control, and you have an input.. on second thought, just see a peripheral dealer..about 50 bucks +-..

Yes you can use that adapter by peripheal but you will have to leave a cassate in the tape player. PAC has also just come out with an adapter for video on your factory nav screen and its alot cheaper then the one from navtv.

Remember, there is work involved with the adaptor! unless you do board level repairs,i wouldn't suggest trying it..
it isnt exactly difficult, but if i know about the fact unit,i wouldn't risk a 3000 dollar piece of equipment!for 300 bucks?!
