Ok now that ive figured out the alarm ive got and how to work it i have a question.

Its a arrow II model, The alarm will trigger by way of the shock sensor VERY easily,

if i set the alarm and come back in 5 minutes the chirps tell me every time that the alarm was triggered.

I dont want to piss everyone off in my parking area with false alarms going off all the time so i was wondering if the sensitivity can be ajusted and if not can i just disable that sensor?

Simply locate the sensor, and dial it down a fraction of a turn. Arm, and test the unit untill you are satisfied to the level of impact.

Remember, placement of the unit, and how it is affixed to the vehicle will impact how consisten the unit is during day to day operations.

Always ensure you re-adjust the unit twice a year during the seasons.

Lastly, always do a impact test of the vehicle 360* using a open palm, and with a oven mitt.

Your goal is to ensure even coverage, and impact intrusion, without nose heavy sensitivity.

ie. Do not simply wire tie the unit to the steering column.

Look under the drivers side dash, center consol, etc for a little black box, with a LED which will light up upon impact.

you may also want to just try to relocate it without adjusting anything and see what a difference it makes.... it may have been put in a bad location by the original installer....

Also, please keep in mind that you *MUST* reset the alarm after the 3rd or 4th prewarn impact(s).

ie. If you arm the alarm system and the unit has a prewarn feature, most of them will allow 3-4 prewarns to be sounded.

If the alarm should sense that threshold as being met, it will zone out, or comply with the noise abatement laws and ignore that zone for XXX amount of minutes / hours. Unless the unit is reset, (armed / disarmed)

Otherwise, you may simply *think* it is set correctly, when in fact it is not. Just because it makes no more noise does not mean its set correctly.

So please ensure that you keep the above procdure in mind when doing your impact / shock tests.

Lastly, you must, I stress must impact the vehicle with a oven mitt or similar padded device.

This will ensure you are protected from the tried and true duck tape method, or zip pens.
