Hi,

Im installing a 2 way alarm/ remote start system on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid. I need to connect a wire to the door pin or domelight sensor which Ive found is a (yellow) wire, the problem with this is that this wire takes like 30 seconds to turn off the light and the alarm only takes like 7seconds to arm, when it arms it senses the doom light on and it thinks its been tamperd with and starts going off. This also sends a signal to the controll and it says the door is open.

Ive look everywhere trying to find the undelay signal but no luck for the past 5 hours. Im running out of time and ideas. Any help on how to get this taken care of will be greatly appreciated. Usually theres somewhere on the car where youll find the wire that reacts instantly to the door been open and close, most vehicles have a push door pin which is easy to remove and tap in to it but not this time. This switch is by the latch inside the door and Ive tried to remove the door panel to see if theres any wires there but removing the door panle seems to be another major pain,,,, like I said this is getting to be pretty frustrating. Im about to toss the towel, but rather get some help to get across the finish line. Thanks!

Damian
