I answered my own question:)

i spent a few hours trying to figure out a way to delay a relay to create two consecutive isolated pulses from a single pulse. My plan is to unlock then pop my doors with just one channel from my alarm. This is the schematic of what i did.

The incoming pulse from my + 12V unlock triggers both relays and starts the charge on the caps.the relay with the single cap cuts output from the other relay.once the single cap is charged it deactivates the relay alowing power to get past the other relay. once the dual caps charge the second relay disingages stopping power output.

with these values (stuff i had laying around) there was about a 1 second delay before the second pulse.

if you guys have any opinions please talk away.

My question would be why would you hook the powerlocks up if your handles are shaved? If your battery dies then you are really screwed.
