Does anyone spray-on their fiberglass and resin? (Thats how boat companys do it.)

SnomanF150 just ordered a chopper gun and he may have it by now. You might PM him and see what he thinks. Generally most installers do not use a chop gun because it's messy. Now if you're doing a lot of mold work and cranking out the same part over and over it makes sense. Like the JL baffle plates I would guess are made with a chop gun. It's not as bad in an industrial setting.

Don't we all wish it were that easy to make enclosures and just spray everything on.  Maybe sometime in the future something a little neater than a chop gun will be developed.  spray-on fiberglass -- posted image.

one idea i had was to modify a drywall tape gun to feed glass cloth (the type that comes spooled like tape) and have some sort of spray nozzel to spray the epoxy. i think it would be pretty cool for larger areas.

ya, i had a dream the other night that i went an bought a can of fiberglass in a spray can (like spray paint)
