I'm looking on ebay for a remote starter/keyless entry for my daughter's Blazer. I have installed a couple of alarm systems, and I've seen some real junk out there. Do you have any brands that you have had good luck with? Any you would stay away from. I understand Bulldog is not great. Thanks.

Direct Start has many options for remote starters, keyless entry models as well as alarm systems. http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/security/new_prices.html

You can try compustar model 2wss-as which is one of the best alarm out there by now it will cost around $340 on ebay or you can try FM-2009 which is similar to compustar but cheaper and work great too.

We do a lot of the Audiovox APS-785 at my shop and we have pretty good luck with them..  Haven't had to pull one out for a while.  The stand alone piece is another story, hate it..   But the 785 is easy to install, plenty of outputs for other options, and for the price, you can't beat it..

We do alot of Ungo and they are easy to install. Have had very few problems with any model except 2007 witch is an experimental piece anyway. too complicated for most with the 2way fully programable remote.
