Is there anybody know why Compustar using different sensing (tach/alternator) for manual/auto tx . car . Most of the wiring diagram only have the tach sensing. It difficult to find and locate alternator sensing wire. I am looking for the wire location without go to the engine compartment,pls help!

The Answer is you can use tach or alt sensing. The manual was misleading. thanks

go tot he odd colour on any one of the injectors.
they all work just the same, but most of us try to use #1 cylinder.

Alt sensing works EVERYTIME no problem.. I use that when possible on the compustars.. but even the tach is still much much much better than the voltage sensing on some other brands..

If the tach is easy to get to just go for that, it will work just fine.
