Does anyone know where and what color the factory alarm disarm wire is on the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. I installed a remote start. I was unaware of a factory alarm. The customer told me there was no alarm. When the truck is remote started it works fine, but when she opens the door to get in the alarm goes off. My software goes up to 2003 and it doesn't show any wire color. Can anyone help?

Do you need a bi-pass modual of some sort?

Well, I just installed a viper 791 on a friends 04 santa fe with factory alarm and there is no factory alarm disarm wire.
Simply, the stock alarm was left in unlock/disarm mode, and told him to never touch the fob ever again. So far so good.

I have a '04 hyundai elantra gt and when I leave my car the doors automaticly lock I think.  I need to double check.  Maybe I accidently pressed the controller or maybe it's the aftermarker starter inturupt on it.

Most Hyundai's disarm if you power the keysense wire as a 3rd ignition. Should be brown (+) in the ignition harness on that car.

Arm and disarm work only via factory remote.
