Another good thing to so is just get a job, any job, and be a good employee. Show up on time and do your best. When the time comes to apply at a stereo shop, you have a good reference and a a manager may give you a chance. If you have the sincere desire to learn and don't act like you're an expert because you've installed a few stereos, you just might get hired!
