I am trying to connect a -500ma output from the alarm doorlock module to a 96 BMW Z3. The lock  wires will stay +12volts when locked and ground at rest, and the unlock +12 when unlocked, ground at rest. I need to now how to hook up some relays to try and make this work with the alarms keyless. Any suggestions?

you need to change the polarity of the doorlocks from Negative trigger to positive trigger you will need two relays one for lock one for unlock.
it will go like this.
Pin 86 - Door lock/unlock wire from alarm
Pin 85 - 12+
pin 87 - 12+
Pin 30 - To Door lock/unlock wire on car

I believe that was one of the many ways I tried. Does this not just provide a "pulse" to the door locks? Does this system not need to some how convert from 12volt to a ground status, or will the "pulse" be enough to open it. I noticed after your reply that the alarm may have been set to a single .75 second pulse. Should I program it to the 3 second pulse instead.

Thanks

Curt
