I need help installing a remote starter on my 1993 Dodge Ram Diesel Truck. I don't know where the glow plug wire on the remote starter hooks to on my truck wiring. The glow plug wire needs power when the WAIT TO START LIGHT is on and when the light goes off so does the power. I found a wire when the WAIT TO START light is on the wire has no power, then when the WAIT TO START light goes out the wire has power. I need it the other way around. I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I need to know what wire to hook the glow plug wire from the remote starter to. Thanks

The tach wire on diesel trucks is gray/lt. blue in pin 43 or gray/black in pin 24 at the PCM on the drivers fender. The wait to start wire is GREEN / WHITE in pin 56 and it is negative polarity.

  • POSITIVE INPUT ----> NEGATIVE OUTPUT
    • 87 & 86 -  CHASSIS ground
    • 30 - Ground OUTPUT
    • 85 - 12 volt INPUT
    • 87a - NOT USED
