I've done a few of these trucks with the 1250 and plxr and had no problems so far. What is the problem you are having with this setup. As far as I know, plxr is the only bypass that works for these trucks. you do have to cut a wire to make it work and program the bypass. I do remember having a hard time finding tach signal, but overall went pretty smooth for me. Elaborate...
I tell it like it is...

I've done a few colorados, a few equinox, and the new G6. On the colorado and equinox I use a PLXR. No problems either.. No need for tach on some of these new cars since you can't overcrank them. The best advice is to get your bypass programmed, and basically take the remote start out of the equation. Fire up your bypass and hot wire the car doing whatever it needs to startup. In this case it needs the acc and ign to come on, then the acc drops out and the car will crank and start. Once you can hot wire the car and keep it running, double check all your r/s connections and then figure out what the problem is with the r/s that it isn't working. Another tip is that some of these new cars need to see the acc wire turn on BEFORE the ignition wire.

Thanks guys,
I just needed to step away
we did five cars yesterday and that animal was the fifth
Any way it is an easy car to set up
We learned that we have to press the program button a lil longer than the inst sez
thanks

Interesting.... the couple I have done, I just used a couple relays and a resistor (didn't have the PLXR in stock at the time). I have seen a couple other shops have problems with the PLXR in the new GM wee little trucks.
Have to see as the winter wears on.
