Note the Passlock wire colors may vary, but they are still located in a three pin wiring harness at the ignition key cyl. **OEM Alarm also disarms when ignition turns on ****All DesignTech remote starters except the 2xx22 have an ignition 3 output - it is the WHITE/ black in the 'control harness.' This wire will be used to control the anti-theft bypass.

Notes:

*This vehicle uses an extremely complex lock/unlock circuit- basically the same system as the 2002 TrailBlazer. To Lock/Unlock, we recommend use of the 23561 Door Lock Interface module, available through DesignTechs sales department at 800-337-4468 . Alternatively, you can wire inside each door for reverse polarity door locks. The 23561 module is easier to install, less expensive, and requires less wiring than the reverse polarity/relay method. Motor Wires, should you choose the reverse polarity method, are Gray for Lock and Tan for unlock. SOME of these vehicles have a switch on the right rear panel which can lock/unlock all doors as a positive trigger system. If so equipped, the wires are Lt Blue for lock and White for Unlock.Connection of the locks without the module is not supported.

i tried the odd wire on one of the injectors for the tach wire. i held the valet switch and it stayed lit which indicated it had learned the tach. now the problem is it will crank over when i hit the remote starter but the engine will not fire up and run. i installed the dei passlock2 bypass module. im pretty sure that i wired it up right. i cut the yellow ignition wire and spliced the yellow to the wire going towards the key and the yellow/black going away from the key and the black wire to the black wire. what else could cause this condition? thanks.
