I wanted to know is there an easy way to tell if a car will need a bypass alarm or not to operate an alarm or remote starter?

yes... ask....   what type of vehicle is it?

most bypass module manufacturers have a website where you can look up a specific model of vehicle and see if it needs a module of any kind.....
