you might want to show what type of car do you have. make, model....
try finding a rubber grommet or boot thats on the firewall and dont tell us that you cant find one... cause there has to be at least one.

if your not sure where to run the wire and you can't find a gromet anywhere, just use a little commen sence when drilling through the fire wall, find a deicent spot away from moving object (sterring shaft, gas pedel, etc) then once you find a spot, use a small drill bit to make a starter hole ,and you will also be able to notice where it's going to go through to the engine bay and you will see how it's going to look, then get a drill bit to match the size wireing going through the hole andonce it's done seal it up to keep water and other things like that out of the car,  but 99% of the time there's a rubber gromet somewhere near, even if it's shared with other wires or a covered cable.

I find it to be a good idea to find an existing grommet with just cut a small slice in the rubber in both sides and poke it through using an antenna or anything similar you use to snake cables.

I have the same car, 93 J30.. posted here a while back with the same issue..
I ended up not drilling through the firewall, rather, I ran the siren cable through the hood release grommet..you will have to remove the inner fender cover on the driver's wheel to accomplish this..a price to pay for a stealth install.. This is the worst car I have installed an alarm/Remote start on in my life..not to mention lack of space in the car to route wires and conceal the brain... Hopefully you have better luck..
