i just wanted to know what color and harness the trunk wire is on? thanks

primary harness 12pin. RED / white channel 2
trunk pin is also on the same harness, zone 4 blue wire.

what is this talk about 'zones' i see all you guys talking about it but im rather confused, sorry i didnt think i needed to start a whole new topic for this

The "zone" is the area of the car that a particular wire protects. For example

Green or Violet on 791xv= Doors and is assigned a specific zone

Blue is trunk wire on 791xv= assigned a diff number zone

This way on the 2 way the corresponding display is correct.

This way when someone opens your trunk to steal your system the trunk indicator and the brain recognize that that is the zone being tampered with. Otherwise if you flipped them around it would show the door open or the shock sensor as the zone while someone was really in your trunk. Proper wire connections are a must.
