i already have one 12 kicker compvr but i am looking at going for two since I could get it for cheap. Right now i have a 1200 watt sony xplod amp pushing it which i know isnt the right amp but its what i have. The sub i have is dvc 4 ohms and i was also wondering if i had separate loads such as one 4 ohm sub and the other 2ohm would it not work or would it be okay...

I am planning on going tonight to check it out..if it is a 2ohm sub should i still purchase ?? and then what amp should i get??

What modle is the sony amp?

I'm not sure I understand your question.  Are you saying one sub is a DVC of a different impendence?

Get another 4ohm sub. Im not even sure how you would go about wiring up a 2 and 4ohm, you would come up with some weird ohm level.

if you try to wire a 2 ohm sub with a 4 ohm sub, one is gonna get more power and they wil sound like sh*t. i've never done it, but i suspect they might play out of phase also, which would add to the sh*ttyness.
