"I can't remember if the OEM remote operates when the vehicle is running"
Most chryslers do shouldn't be an issue on the Liberty.

Well, we finally had some time to install this add-on remote start, and the car starts perfect each time when we tap either the (-) start input on the ground or (+) input on power. But to get it to work with the OEM remote is a different story. I used lock wire, but apparently it gets enough signal on both lock and unlock, and it doesn't work right.
So, anyone have any ideas ? I would imagine all the newer Chrysler "products" are the same. Where can I grab the singal for the starter trigger input ? either positive or negative, preferably a lock signal, and only when the transmitter is pressed, but no the lock on the door. I did this before to some Malibu's and Impala's and it worked great. As usual all the help is greatly appreciated,
