Hi, I have 791xv in my 1999 mercury cougar, and I’m putting the full body kit with shave handles, but this is when the problem arises. I took the car to the alarm shop to install the door poppers, when I got it back every thing was fine until one day I tried to remote start the car and instead of starting it trip the alarm the only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery or start the car and leave it to run. Now this occurs all the time now. I would have taken it back to the shop but I can't right now because it's in the shop. Thanks

If it tripped the factory alarm, vehicle horn honking instead of a siren then you may need to have them hook up the factory disarm wire so that when the remote start is activated it grounds out the factory disarm wire.  Just a thought.
