According to their website 2wss-as is their newest, "best" alarm/remote start. However, the 2-way remote pictured appears to be an old one. I am basing this on the pictures they have on their "Evolution of 2-way" page. Is the remote that comes with this alarm the blue one or the black square style?

The 2wss-as is the square one that's been out for a couple years. Their newest is the 2w900fm-as which has similar range and better features. The brains are the same, but the 900 uses a smaller, sleeker remote with more features. The SS range is probably a little better, but the 900 is superior IMO. You can get that remote in blue (2 car operation) or gray (turbo 2 minute cool down).
