the horn relay is under the hood with all the other relays and fuses.  u will be able to find it in the steering column if you take the entire shroud off.  that way u can get closer to the horn and see the harness coming off of it.  good luck.  and if worst comes to worst, you can always find the actual horn under the hood..but that always sucks doing  that!\

now i have completely taken the wheel off. there are only three wires going in to it. the one i mentioned earlier and two more the i beleive are for cruise controll and are un related. also is there any way to test to make sure that my alarm is actually sending out a signal to sound the horn... it is programed to do so so i wanted to find out if the signaL is going through the wire.

How are you " ... push the negative to it " ?? The target wire is 12 volts and (-) when horn is depressed. You must use a relay from the alarm system to activate the horn wire on the Accord as well.

so what you are saying is i need to have purchased a seperate relay with my alarm or can i use the horn relay that is already in the car. if so i cannot find the car's relay... i believe i have found the "target" wire. i only have a test light. i clip it to ground and probe "target wire" and its hot. when the horn is depressed the light goes off. am i on the right one?
thaks for the reply. i REALY appreciate it

ok now im really starting to get frustrated. )keep in mind i only have a test light) i cliped my test light to chasis ground and then probe the target wire (which btw is RED / green w/ silver dots) and it lights up, if i blow the horn, the light goes off... so the wire is 12 volts, right? now whats really cooking my noodle is just for laughs i cliped my light to the + side of my battery and poke the wire... guess what. the horn honks *scratches head in amazement*....
now what i would like to know is what kind of signal comes from the alarm unit... + or -??? cause my test light shows neither.... i bhave check to make sure its not in silent mode, and its not.... i dont know what else to do.
