I saw that.  It says Miata, but do you think that it matters?

I highly doubt it makes a difference as it looks like there are only three wires!Fading Domelight - Page 2 -- posted image. If I weren't saving money for a new engine for my car, I'd probably buy one myself since I like that fading domelight.

I tried ordering one, and the total came out to nearly 50$ with shipping. They emailed me and said it was on backorder for 2 weeks, so I told them to cancel.

I want to make one with parts because I'm sure it would be alot cheaper, I just dont know what parts to buy at Radio Shack or some other electronic store (Home Depot maybe?).  If anyone could help out, again, Thanks.

$50 shipped? That's insane!

I would think you could tell them which IC you wanted at Radio Shack and they could at least cross-reference it. I'm just lazy Fading Domelight - Page 2 -- posted image. The transistor looks like a pretty common transistor which I would think Radio Shack would also have.

If you figure out what parts to buy over at Radio Shack (part numbers), please post them for me.  I tried figuring it out, but didnt get far.  Radio Shack has a limited number of transistors and what not.
