I installed the PHOENIX DIGITAL DELUXE from asian wolf PHOENIX DIGITAL DELUXEon a 97 explorer. everything works fine until you drive the car. The alarm will activate while driving! the only time it will does this is after the car has been remote started. any ideas?

Did you interface the OEM alarm disarm wire?

Boomer is right..   There should be some kind of "factory disarm" or "ignition out" wire that sends out a (-) signal when you press the remote start button.  This signal (if properly wired into your factory alarm) will disarm it so that you can remote start the car without setting off the alarm.

If this wire is not wired to receive (-) signal when remote starting the alarm is supposed to go off because your factory alarm  thinks that someone is hot wiring your car.

Good luck finding it... comb the internet for multiple wiring diagrams, one of them should have a "key sense" or "alarm disarm" wire (usually around the steering column or driver's kick panel).

I did a 97--getting the factory alarm to arm gave me fits.   Sounds like you had no problem with it. The instructions given me below made the alarm disarm no problem. You must have a "factory disarm" feature (negative one second pulse) from your RS for this to work.
