I had recently bought a sanyo ecd-t1550 from my local wal-mart store.  The thing screwed up 3 different times in three different ways.  After it screwed up the 3rd time, I exchanged it for a pioneer head-unit (the dehp-4700mp to be exact).  It sounds better, looks cooler, has a ton more features, and plays mp3s for just 40$ more.  I guess I'm just venting but, shouldn't Sanyo (being a reliable company for home audio and video) make a good product for cars.  Have you guys had any problems with Sanyo?

I've never seen a sanyo product used in a mobile audio system. Even though they may have reliable systems for the home, car audio is not their forte'.

It is always best to stick with the top brands. I let others test out the new stuff and when it is proven to be good, then I might try it out.
