i installed keyless entry and aftermarket lock actuators on a 2005 ford f-150.  everything works fine, except at random times when he's driving down the road the locks will just lock by themselves.  he doesn't touch them, the remote isn't getting keyed.  if you unlock the doors when it's parked, wait about 2 or 3 minutes the doors will just lock themselves.  this is a problem because when he turnes it on in the morning to warm it up and goes inside, when he goes to get in, he's locked out with it running.  i think it might be an alignment issue with the rods.  can someone tell me the "right" way to align these things.           ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

What Model(name)of keyless entry that was install?
My guess is that it is program under passive locking. This mean the unit automatically locks the door say in 2-3 minute.
To remedy the isssue at hand. Program it to active locking. Meaning the keyless entry unit will only lock the doors on your command and not automatically say 2-3 minute later.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.locks unlock and lock by itself - Last Post -- posted image.

alignment will cause for door locks to work iratically but the pencil has a point the keyless entry might just be programmed to passive or even ignition control door locks check the owners manual or even the install manual if u still have it
