I will be working on a 2005 Ford F-250, it has a 6 disc in dash cd changer. The radio has an aux button to the right of the display. Has anyone been able to use the aux input of this radio and is there an adapter available?

I went to ford online and found the Owners Manual for that truck which has in it what the button does....

here is what the manual says....

4. Aux: Press to toggle between FES/DVD and AUX modes. If no auxiliary sources are available, NO AUX AUDIO will be displayed.

from that I would say that there is an AUX input on the rear..I have searched PAC and couldnt find anything on an adapter but I will keep looking...The link for the manual is above if you want to read more of it...

Try contacting Soundgate - www.soundgate.com  Call or email them - the app list on the website isn't quite up to date. They have Ford input adapters - just not sure about your truck.

I've been unable to find an aux adapter, looks like Ford changed their radios again, plugs are different than the 2004 F-250. I'll be using an FM modulator till they come out with something. I'll keep everyone posted.
