i have an 86 Mercedes 300E. First car, and im putting about $700 worth of stereo and i just dant wanna losse it to some A$$. I just need a good alarm, the factory one sucks, the only thing that sets it off it opening the door while its locked. Well smash the window in and pull the door lock up, and then all my stuff is gone.
I need a better one, i kinda know what sort of features im looking for, maby to close the windwos once locked, including sun roof, proximity sensor, and a 2-way FM remote so i can see what goes off while im in class.
Price isnt that big of an issue, but i would really like one under $200-300

No alarm will protect your car when you park your car in a dark alley way or parking lot. Not even the best alarm in the market will be able protect the content in your car. Under $300, take a look at Autostart and Compustar product. They do a pretty good job.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.whats would be good? -- posted image.

Whatever alarm you look at should have a 2nd pulse for the door locks - on that model, they definetely use the vacuum door locks.
