I have a Dodge Stratus 1999.  I don't have keyless entry but I do have factory power door locks.  I hear a clicking sound from the BCM when any door lock switch is moved either up or down.

I had a dealer look at it but they blamed it on the aftermarket stereo.  I had the aftermarket stereo removed and they still couldn't find anything wrong.

If the BCM is bypassed, can I use the factory actuators or should I either replace the actuators or the BCM??

In the first way I do not see a way that a aftermarket radio could brake door actuators.  If the relay is clicking, it means that the actual actuators are bad abd the radio is norwhere close to them.

Thank you, I knew the dealer just wanted to blame aftermarket equipment.
