I was just wondering if any of you guys knew how to bypass the clutch for purposes of remote start. I still want to have to push in the clutch when I go to start the car with the key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you can also get the viper 688m module for that combo.   i wouldn't recommend it though...i have put in tons of them, they don't work as well as buying a unit designed for standards.   they do make it safe to install though...

look at your clutch switch though... i believe that there should be a  wire that goes to 12 volts during crank when the clutch is pushed in.  you'll have to check for yourself though.  just remember, the idea is to mimick what the clutch switch is doing

where can you get the viper 688m module? It doesn't come up on a yahoo search, yahoo shopping, or ebay.
Thanks!

you can connect your starter wire from the R/S unit to the WHITE/ pink at the clutch switch instead of the ign. harness.....it'll fire every time. Make sure your e-brake works WELL, and leave the car in neutral.............................. Don't hurt anyone

yah, except the first time he forgets to leave the car in neutral, then accidentally remote starts it, it's gonna go through a wall or something!!
