Going to be installing the vallet 561t RS on the impala cause factory remotes wanted to be kept and used...  Already have the Rs module and was planning on having it remote start the car off the lock wire... But i just noticed the lock and unlock use the same wire, just that lock has 470 resistance...  does anyone have ideas on how to make this work ?   Thanks

For those type of remote starts you don't use the switch wire, you use the motor wires. You want to use the gray or tan motor wires in that vehicle. You can pick them up to the left of the dash near the fusebox. Also those wires usually rest at like 7 volts so you will want to use a relay like so:
Pin 85: To motor wire in vehicle
Pin 86: To ground
Pin 30: To ground
Pin 87: To negative remote start trigger
or if you want to use a positive remote start trigger
Pin 30: to 12volts
Pin 87: To positive remote start trigger
Good luck,
Mike
