94 Explorer, door locks dead

I was replacing my stolen car radio when the red-wire sparked against the chassis. After the red-wire spark, the door locks don't work. When I now press the 'Lock' or 'Unlock' button the headlights flash (seriously). I can hear the door lock relay (inside the dash) working, but the lock-mechanisms aren't activating. I've check the fuses next to the parking brake, the fuses inside the engine bay's EDM and they're all fine. Is there a fuse in the factory "Anti-Theft" system that needs to be replaced?_Lupin

Check all of the fuses inside the car and under the hood.

You must be missing a fuse somewhere

Hi AO, I checked both of those areas. All the fuses are great. I also pulled that fuse connecting the wires under the sterring column (near the hood latch) - it runs inline with the starter. Is there any other fuse location? Next to the control boxes in the left-rear quarter panel? I think I cooked (somehow) the factory installed "Anti-Theft" system. Do you know which box that is? My remote control doesn't activate anything (no relay activity at all). But when I push the door-handle's "Lock" button, the doors will lock. When I push the door-handle's "Unlock" button, I hear the small relay in the dash function, but the door lock mechanisms do nothing. I also notice that the turn-signal indicator relays (seem) to work a little more slowly. Instead of snapping on & off, they seem to click-click a bit more slowly. FOUND IT! I re-checked the fuses and found the bad one (15-Amp, inside the cab). My mistake. When I first checked the fuses inside the cab - using needle nose pliers to pull them out - I had covered the end of the blown fuse. So I didn't see the little bit of fuse section that had been blown out. To everyone who wrote in - Thanks! _Lupin
