This is good information to have. I'm still waiting for my diodes actually. I have my wires right there and ready to rock n roll, so it's no problem for me to hook my door triggers separately, when I get the diodes, which will be sometime in the next few days I hope. This is some handy information you found out. Can I ask you about the breaker relay that the instructions say goes between your ON 1 wire... which states in the manual that this is a theft feature where you can shut off the vehicle if you've been robbed? does this breaker actually go to your ON 1 wire, or is it the typical starter kill relay that's suposed to go to your starter wire? I find it very odd that this wire would go to your ON 1 wire, cuase if someone has just jacked you from your car, your god damn keys and remote will still be inside the car when they drive off, meaning you cannot press the buttons to have the car shut off on them. the translation is really piss poor. I don't understand how they can make copies of something with a translator that was on crack and wasn't read over by someone else first.

I forgot to mention I'm playign with a 1996 contour. seems like a simple car to work with for this. which is nice since I've never installed an alarm before.
