I have a question and i should know this working at a shop and all but i dont. My girlfriend has a 03 Cavalier and needs the door chime piece but my question is what if i did not use that part would i only lose the door chime part or lots of other stuff due to the Data bus part that is built in..

This is the one I like to use. I am not so sure what other parts you are referring to, but if you don't connect the speaker wire conneting to the chime all you lose is the just the door chime.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. 2003 Cavalier Class 2 Data Bus - Last Post -- posted image.
