I am installing a remote start/alarm on a 1996 Ford Taurus.  Can anyone tell me the negative door trigger wire colors for all four doors on the Taurus.  The positive door trigger is the BLACK/ lt blue, but I need the negative door triggers in case the possitive trigger gives me false alarms.

Also, will I find these wire in the same wire plug as the door lock and unlock that is located directly behind, and below the fuse box.  There are three plugs, and the one on the left has the door lock wires.  There is also a BLACK/ lt blue wire in that plug, but I got no voltage reading on that wire.

Will the factory alarm disarm (pink/white) also be in that plug?  The only pink/white wire in that plug is a door unlock as well.  Thank you.

Why would the positive triggers give you false alarms?

Was just told that sometimes on the 1996 Ford Taurus happens - so I am getting plan B in order.  Do you know at least the negative driver's door trigger, and the factory alarm disarm wires?

The factory disarm wire is pink/white (-) it should be behind the drivers kick panel. As far as the door triggers use the dome light that lights up the drivers side floor board, you can get both (+)&(-) and it will see all doors.

Let us know how it goes
