I am looking to buy a component set of speakers.  I like the MB Quart spearkers with the metal dome tweeters.  Metal dome tweeters to me sound a lot better than soft dome tweeters when listening to them in a car audio display area.  Are they too bright or harsh in a car?  I have a 99 Ford Taurus.  The speakers would be mounted in the facory locations.  Any opinions would be appreciated.

It all depends on the manufacturer producing the product you will listen to in the end, MW...  If your thinking about quarts... go for it.  I promise you woun't have any complaints with them....

I would go with the MB Quart. I have tried all kinds of components and MB Quart is by far the best. I have the QSD 216  The highs are a little bright but that is adjustable on the  outboard crossover that they come with.
