My dad has a 1967 Pontaic Firebird. He wants to put a system in there but theres just one problem....its a convertable.  Once you drop the top you lose half the trunk. Also theres no rear deck. He wants to leave the door panels stock, so no speakers there. Theres speakers in the kicker panel, but I'm finding it hard to put a good system in there. He isnt a basshead so one good 10 or 12 will work good.

Any suggests? I realize there aint to many things to do, so he just may SOL.

i would recommend a pioeneer hu. it has a ton of adjustments and built in crossovers on the better models. A good pair of coaxs like the boston acoustis. a good mono amp. i have a bazooka amp and for the money its been great. and dont over look a pair of good 8inch subs if u are worried about box size.

Contact Custom Autosound, they make a lot of aftermarket stuff for classic cars that does not require any mods.
