I am installing a Viper 350HV system in my 92 Ford explorer.  I have pre-existing power door locks, but not keyless entry.  Everything was going well in the installation untill i got to the keyless entry.  I can not tell how to wire the keyless entry from the provided instructions.  the power lock switch has a pink/green wire that give off +12v when I press unlock and pink / YELLOW give off +12v when i press lock.  There is one wire that gives off constant +12v and 2 grounds.  I have tried tapping into the pink wires but it does not work.  any help on how to install this would be greatly appreciated.

If your Explorer came WITHOUT Factory Keyless Entry:

U will need 2 SPDT Relays

Cut your PINK / YELLOW & PINK/Green wires in half

Relay 1

LOCK:

PIN 87 = PINK / YELLOW wire from Door Lock Actuator
PIN 87a = PINK / YELLOW wire from Door Lock Switch
PIN 30 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 85 = Negative Lock Output from Viper
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

Relay 2

UNLOCK:

PIN 87 = PINK/Green wire from Door Lock Actuator
PIN 87a = PINK/Green wire from Door Lock Switch
PIN 30 = 12 Volts ( + ) Constant
PIN 85 = Negative UNLock Output from Viper
PIN 86 = Constant 12 volt ( + )

If your Explorer came WITH Factory Keyless Entry:

Hook your Viper Lock / Unlock wires directly to the Factory wires ( don't cut them in half )
