i see more alarms now that have on board shock sensors, and aslo being set by the remote instead of a set screw on the brain.
just to here other people thoughts on this.
What do you prefure onboard or off board?
With an onboard.... prefure changing seting by the remote or the set screw.
i have not had the chance yet to play around with the ones that are set by the remotes.

Offboard and zip-tie it to a fat harness under the dash for easiest and best location, that is what I have found that works best for me.

the viper 350 hv i installed if my wifes car has an onboard dual stage sensor and is pretty sensitive, even at the back end of the car. civic. but personally i like detached sensors that can be mounted anywhere in the car.
